Up-cycled fabric ~ I think most of you probably are aware of what it is & what it means, but recently I was trying to explain it to my mom, who is an aging hippie, who laughed when I told her what it meant; repurposing old fabrics or using discarded materials that would end up in landfill, she said,

"That's the only way we had clothes when I was young''.

Bless her hippie heart, but of course since then the amount of fabric that has ended up in our landfills has dramatically increased! I then went on to explain to her what fast-fashion meant & how this over indulgent unconscious consuming was having a radical impact on our planet.

She was sad to learn this news, but grateful to be educated.

In our efforts to grow & become more sustainable, we work hard to achieve solutions to creating conscious clothing one step at a time. The fashion industry is in need of desperate change & one way we are contributing is by bringing you a unique collection of fun & funky styles using up-cycled fabrics, using fabric wastage to create one of a kind patchwork & by purchasing & using fabrics bound for landfill & then creating beautiful designs...

The process is a small example of just one of the many changes that need to happen.
